Doesn't really matter if OP thinks that or not. No party will accept that low a level of monk in later missions. Aside from the low skill levels, think about how few skills one would have....

Heck - I've seen lvl19 monks get turned down out of parties...

Personally i can tel lyou exacticalyl the easiest way for any mes primary or mes secondary to ascend at almost any lvl, but id suggest playign and learning your skills. you can ascend with only 2 skilsl once you figure out how to play them

and they are both domination skills, thats all the more ill hint at, up to you to figutre out which ones and the strategy on how to use them

Agreed. Learn your character thru. A lvl 17 Monk is useless especially in shiverpeaks and fire islands, if they dont know how to use their skills to the best of their ability. I'll tell you right now, a lvl 17 recently ascended monk vs. Lina or Mhenlo -- im taking Mhenlo. I know what I'm getting with him. Rushing does not pay, especially for a crucial profession like Monk.

When i asscended the second time, i did it for no apparent reason, i think it was due to a moments inspiration (i had real difficulty the first time, took me ages to master countering and then it was by luck, i died one second before him) i took scourge healing, breeze and a lot of heal spells, cast scourge on him immedietly then breeze on myself before he got scourge on me then watched him heal himself to death! It wasn't fast but it was funny.

as for the mo/me strat, best thing i found to do was to bring the following:

healing breeze
bane signet
signet of judgement

its incredibly easy to predict when he is going to cast bane signet and SoJ, so just time your own sigs to go off while he is casting his and interrupt him with the knockdown, and of course, he never uses healing breeze, so feel free to always have it on you :P

btw, its incredibly easy to predict when he uses his sigs because he uses them as soon as he possibly can every time.

If you can decipher my statement above, with any Mo or /Mo secondary, all you need to do is just take healing breeze. Dopple NEVER uses it, unless it's conditional! Therefore, you do the math. He won't use hb. You can. You win.

Backfire, Empathy, Distortion, move around.

You never have to attack once.
